Mothers' Union Coffee Morning

 

It was Mary Sumner's day - August 9th - and a warm & sunny morning, as St. Michael's Myland Mothers' Union gathered for their annual Coffee Morning, hosted by George & Celia Towns.

 

 

One purpose of the morning was to raise funds for the Mothers' Union - rather necessary, as members have spent the year on a wide range of initiatives, many of which have raised money for other causes, such as the Myland Parish Halls Modernisation Project.

 

It was good to see spouses, friends and neighbours supporting the event, including colleagues from other Branches - and so conversation flowed as freely as the coffee.

 

Ann Pipe thanks everyone for their work during the year, and George & Celia for their hospitality. And we guests thank them all for their welcome!
