Reports of Events
Café and Craft, January 2011 Another Café and Craft Session was held at the beginning of January. We thought about Epiphany and …
designed crowns,
decorated star-shaped biscuits,
(and enjoyed eating them!)
stuck shiny coloured paper on star shapes, made coloured lanterns
and lots of other things.
Afterwards we followed the star into the church, whilst hearing the story of the visit of the Wise Men to baby Jesus, and at the end every child received a Bible story book and a gold coin (chocolate, of course!)
Advent Labyrinth, December 2010
On Saturday 11th December the Chapel was laid out for a spiritual journey - an Advent Labyrinth - when all who came were given an opportunity for quiet reflection in the build up to Christmas. Each stage of the journey was a significant part of the Nativity story and we were made aware of the relevance of each one to our lives today.
We've had lots of success with our Coffee mornings and other events in the past year- click here to see our photo archive!
