A Community Project sponsored by St.
Michael's Church
Revd Rosie
Tallowin is the Community Pastor for
New
Braiswick Park, and lives with her husband Vic at 11 Tufnell
Way. Here they are!
We
hope that by Rosie living on this new housing development we
will develop an understanding of what it is like to be part
of this community of people of all ages, and and to help
improve the quality of life for everyone who lives here, in
the short or long term, owner-occupiers or tenants.
There's lots happening at New Braiswick Park - including a
visit by Bishop Christopher Morgan -
click here to read about that! Then there's.....
Newsletter
Rosie has just finished delivering the latest newsletter to
over 500
households in Tufnell Way, Little Woods Mews, Aerofoil
Grove, Axial Drive, Propelair Way, Radial Court, Woods

What is a Community Pastor?
Some people Rosie meets are not sure what a ‘Community
Pastor’ is. Rosie is living on New Braiswick Park to help
where she can, and where invited to do so. Her first
newsletter asked what sort of things residents would like to
know about, or what was proving to be a difficult situation
as a new housing development continues to be under
construction.
In response to the suggestions and requests, Rosie has been
able to provide a venue for mums to meet with their
pre-school children, to have a cuppa and a chat; coffee
mornings for
people at home during the day so they can meet other
residents; a pizza/curry evening; Job Centre Plus sessions
for help with CV writing and interview tips; litter pick;
Dad’s Saturday with bacon rolls & newspapers plus breakfast
and activities for their children; activities for children
and their parents/carers during the school holidays........

Making Christmas Tree decorations
Thursday
25 November
We have
3 sessions on Thursday 25 November for making or donating
Christmas Tree decorations – 11am to 12 noon, 4pm to 6pm and
7pm to 9pm. You are very welcome to donate or make
decorations on behalf of your family, or in memory of a
loved one.
Travelling
Nativity Crib
Every day in Advent
If
you and/or your family would like to take part in something
a bit different this advent then why not look after our
travelling nativity crib for a night or two? We think we
have enough sheep for each family to keep one sheep, in
return for giving the travelling holy family a place to rest
for the night. The sheep are very cute and friendly, don’t
need feeding and they don’t poo!! If you would like more
details, or add your name to the list of homes, then please
get in touch with Rosie.
Rhymes & Wriggles, Tuesday,
7th December,
10am - 11am,
at Rosie's House, 11 Tufnell Way
For babies & toddlers and their grown-ups; a time for rhymes,
songs, story and music for wriggles.

Coffee Morning in October. Please Look out for the Christmas
Coffee Morning in December: more details soon. Watch this

Fun on The October Litter Pick
Our thanks to all who helped with the Litter Pick on
Saturday 23rd October. We had some delicious bacon butties
afterwards, thanks to two New Braiswick Park residents,
washed down with some fresh coffee. Please help New
Braiswick Park to be litter-free by looking after the little
bit where you live. Hopefully it will discourage people from
dropping their litter.
