.. and our prayers for the specific development of our Parish:

Myland Parish Halls

Lord, we commit to you this day the facility that is now the Myland Parish Halls.  We continue to offer you our thanks and praise for all that has been achieved in your name. We pray now for all the organisations using these renewed facilities and for those who will come to us in the coming days. And we pray for Eric, our bookings manager, help him to deal with all the various issues with which he will be confronted, grant him patience and wisdom in all his work. Amen

Pastoral Prayer

Lord, we commit to you this day the family life of our church. We desire to see our church community flourishing in our relationship with you and with each other. Help me to be mindful of those who I can assist in their faith, their relationships and in their daily life. Use me in your service to visit those who are sick, help those who are in need and comfort those who are in distress. Amen

New Braiswick Park

Lord, we commit to you this day our work on the New Braiswick Park project. Please guide, lead, help and inspire the project team to work always on your behalf and in your name. May we keep in our hearts and prayers all New Braiswick Park residents and Lord, we pray that a strong community spirit will develop and grow, that the estate will become a place where all work for one another to provide a secure, welcoming home for all. May all stakeholders work for the benefit of the estate and develop sound, productive and fruitful working relationships. Lord, we ask this in your Holy name. Amen.

The Parish of Myland

Lord, we commit to you this day the parish of Myland, it’s residents, businesses and amenities. Awaken me to the possibilities open to me as people move in and out of the area, help me to befriend the strangers in our midst and seek ways to introduce Christ to them through the life that I lead.  May your hand guide all those concerned with the future development of the parish and its infrastructure. Amen

Church Finances

Lord, we commit to you this day our church finances. As our focus changes from hall to church and as we await another revision of our family purse assessment, grant us the faith to give with vision, generosity and love. Challenge me in the way that I calculate my tithe and prioritise my giving. Help me to rely less on my treasures on earth and more on my treasure in heaven. Amen

Colossians 3:12

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” NIV
