.. and our prayers for the specific development of our Parish:

Just-10

Lord, we thank you that this autumn we can focus on your Commandments through “Just 10”. May all who attend the programme be inspired by your holy Word and your timeless principles of love, with a desire to live life to the full, and a will to see our community transformed by your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Pastoral Prayer

Lord, we give you thanks for the family life of our church. We pray for the strength not to grieve your Holy Spirit as He continues to do His work in and among us each day. Inspire in us a living faith that will lead us on in our journey together and with you. Speak to each of us each day of those whom we might encourage and nurture towards a deeper relationship with you and with each other.  Help us to tend the sick and help all those who are in need of our support. Amen

New Braiswick Park

Lord, we commit to you this day our work on the New Braiswick Park project. Please guide, lead, help and inspire the project team to work always on your behalf and in your name. May we keep in our hearts and prayers all New Braiswick Park residents and Lord, we pray that a strong community spirit will develop and grow, that the estate will become a place where all work for one another to provide a secure, welcoming home for all. May all stakeholders work for the benefit of the estate and develop sound, productive and fruitful working relationships. Lord, we ask this in your Holy name. Amen.

The Parish of Myland

Lord, we give you thanks for our parish of Myland, our Church, our Parish Halls and all residents, businesses and amenities.  Help us to take the gospel into every situation within our boundaries so that each resident may know that this is their parish also, in which they are welcomed and valued. Help us to keep at the heart of future developments so that your place here is protected and acknowledged. Amen

Church Finances

Lord, we give you thanks for all your bountiful gifts to us and as we acknowledge the abundance of your generosity towards your people grant us the faith to be bold with the resources you have entrusted to us. Help us by your guidance and teaching to ensure that all our financial commitments are met this year to the praise of your name. Amen

John 14 v 21

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him”. NIV
