A Harvested FieldA Harvest Thank You

On Sunday 6th October, we celebrated and gave thanks for the glory of God's creation at our Harvest Festival, and held in our prayers all who are in need. Click here for photographs of some of our harvest displays, which focused on climate change and our responsibility for protecting the beautiful and bountiful earth God created.

We also launched this year's shoebox appeal for Operation Christmas Child at the service so please click here for information about how you can fill a shoebox for a child in need.

Thank you to everyone involved with the day: whether you helped to decorate the church, donated items for our harvest collection, prepared the 'Ploughmans and Puds' lunch, or simply came along to participate in it all - we appreciated it!

A bountiful selection of toiletries and food items were presented to Beacon House and the Colchester Foodbank.

Recycle and raise funds for St. Michael's Church at the same time!

Please bring your empty crisp packets and bread bags to us. There is a collection box in the church and also one in the lobby of Myland Parish Halls.

Thank you.
