Christmas Services
Christmas is really special at St. Michael's!

The season of Advent, which leads up to Christmas, begins on Advent Sunday when we have a service of Lighting the Christmas Trees at 4pm. But the fun starts on the day before - on the Saturday morning, all the groups linked to the Church come to decorate their trees. That's from 10am to noon.

On the first Wednesday of December, our Mothers Union hold their Christmas Carol Service, which is followed by refreshments in Myland Parish Halls. All are welcome.

The next major event is our Family Christingle Service on the second Sunday of December. It's often a Chocolate Christingle, so you won't want to miss that!

We also have a Carols by Candlelight Service on a Sunday evening nearer Christmas.

Then on Christmas Eve we have a Crib Service for children and families of all ages, usually at 4pm, and a service of Carols and Candles at 7pm. Midnight Communion follows (we start at 11:30pm) and on Christmas Morning we have a Celebration of Holy Communion at 10:15am.

Look out for announcements and a poster on the home page of our website as Christmas approaches. We'll give you plenty of notice!

We look forward to welcoming you - and of course you needn't wait til Christmas. We'd love to see you anytime!
