Faith is being confident of what we hope for and sure of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1).

In what or whom do you have faith?

We all have faith in lots of things. That the seat you're sitting on now won't give way. That the plane you fly in is well-maintained. That your wages or pension will arrive on time. That your family still love you.

And you may believe that there's a God; that the wonders of creation couldn't have happened by accident; and that our human nature and emotions - love, care, compassion, anger, disappointment, sadness, etc. - must come from somewhere. We do; we have those feelings because God does. It's his nature and ours because God is love and we are made in his image.

How do we respond to that? 

We build up our relationship with Him in prayer
We gather together to worship God and to enjoy being with each other
We learn more about him 
We pray for the world and those in trouble
We work for the good of mankind

How can I do that?

The easiest way is to come to our services and events; we worship together, have social events, learn about the Bible and serve the Myland community in various ways. Why not continue surfing our site, checking out our service times and other events in our calendar, and popping in to see us?
